On the new plastic "computer with a coax" so-called radios: isn't life complex enough? All those gee-gaws... I'm reminded of a quote from "Waldon:" "...it costs more than it comes to." And he didn't just mean money... 73 David S.

Tube rigs reign. A decent tech can repair them and parts are still around
even though you might have to look a bit. All this new stuff is very nice
but takes an engineer to operate. Too many buttons that never get used and a
menu because there is not enough room for the additional buttons that would
otherwise be required.
