Tom,
Gee, if I were closer and my XYL was not a stroke victim, I'd be tickled
pink to help out. Looks like the 2010 reserve? xmtr, 2012 MF transmitter
and not sure about the HF transmitter. (2013 maybe?) Maybe a 3001 or
earlier reserve receiver and the 2010 main with the two color yellow/green
tape dial. Not to mention the autoalarm and keyer, etc..
Looks like one of the radio rooms on the old Lykes ships which we worked on
many of.

Subject: [Boatanchors] NS Savannah
Hello All,
I have been talking to the custodians of the NS Savannah about getting
the radio equipment operational. The Savannah is a prototype nuclear
powered cargo ship built in 1959. The reactor was decommissioned in the
1990's. The ship is currently docked in Baltimore, Maryland.
At this time, I would like to find out if anyone else is interested in
participating in the restoration of the radio equipment. The ship is
only available during weekday business hours and on special occasions.
The next time the ship will be open to the public is on November 11.
The radio room can be seen here: http://hnsa.org/savannah/radio.php?pano=nr
We are just at the talking stage now and I trying the gauge the interest
in the restoration. Please contact me off list if you are interested
in working on the project.
