[Boatanchors] Globe Scout 65 and Globe Scout 65A Cabinet Paint.

I believe that the 65 and 65A had a wrinkle finish.  The 65B used the same cabinet as the Globe Chief 90A (completely different from the 65 and 65A) and that was a medium gray hammertone.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Globe Scout 65 and Globe Scout 65A Cabinet Paint.

Is there anyone on here who could tell me what the paint looks like on both
a WRL Globe Scout 65 and also a Globe Scout 65A transmitter cabinet?  I have
one each and both were purchased with sand blasted cabinets and were
provided to me with just  primer on the BUD cabinets.  I tried finding the
required info on the WRL reflector but got no results there.

As a kid,  I purchased a brand new Globe Scout 40A and it's Bud cabinet had
a Hammertone finish in a blue/gray color.  That transmitter is long gone.
Looking at Globe Scout sales photos in black and white for the 65 model, the
finish appears to be a Hammertone paint.  This is probably true for the 65A
too.  The paint in the B/W photo is definitely not Wrinkle paint.  That
said,  something in the back of my head says the paint was a GREEN
Hammertone and not the normally seen light GRAY Hammertone.  Of course I
can't tell the color looking at the black and white sales brochure.

So, does anyone on here know the true color on the 65 and 65A cabinets?
Maybe they were the same and then maybe different in color.  I have no
sample around here to have tested at a paint shop to have the paint mixed
for me.  It would be great if someone actually had paint formulas for these
rigs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
