Hi, I am in need of a coax relay. It is a Dow-Key type DK2-60B type. It is a DPDT relay with an internal jumper in the de-energized position. It has 4 connectors.
I'll take either UHF or N connectors, any voltage coil, and any quality mfg.
I have a BNC version of this relay, but would prefer the larger model.
On the subject of the Nuvistors.... I have a LOT of vintage equipment that uses these tubes.
(I collect Parks and other Nuvistor converters and preamps) Why? I have NO idea!! ha ha
I have been purchasing many spare 6CW4s and 6DS4s as I come across them for a good price. I have experienced a high failure rate with these tubes. Both in equipment as received and some of the spares I have purchased as well.
I have thousands of vacuum tubes and the failure rate of the Nuvistors seem to be much, much higher than the 7 and 9 pin jobs.
Comments? Construction problems with the small tubes?
I have plenty of spares, but just wanted to ask the group if my experience is normal.
thanks!!
