I've been pursuing this hobby for thirty years now.   I'm 61 years old.

I find a good deal of enjoyment in looking at the pictures that Nick 
posted.  Why?  The answer is simple.

When there is such an eclectic collection of equipment, I always seem to 
find SOMETHING *I* have NOT seen before.  So you might think about that 
when you pose questions as to "why" some folks take pictures.

There are a lot of older radios that are not seen on a regular basis, 
that suddenly appear at a large event.

I go to the ones I can reasonably get to, and I still see pieces of 
equipment that are new to me.
