Used to be the newbies would zip around taking multiple shots of the
same type of set, to compare later for purchasing or whatever other
purposes. Nowadays there aren't many boatanchor newbies, it's more a
case of guys like Nick taking photos to post for the folks who didn't
or couldn't attend, to see what was available. I always find it
interesting to see what comes out of the woodwork.
I had planned to go, but the storm damage up north changed my plans.
Canceled my room reservations only to discover a couple days later
that all was well. Neither of the other guys could make it in my
party, so I ended up not deciding what to do until it was too late.
More stuff to haul to NEAR-Fest to sell. And the time was used well
here to knock down the honey-do list a bit more.
