I run a Hallicrafters HT-32B and Invader 200 and Invader 2000. Not
really suited for AM operation. My 40M rig is a SBE-33/Sb1LA with the
medium impedance SBE/Turner hand microphone not provision for AM on this
one. I have never found a microphone what works well this this rig
other than the SBE/Turner hand microphone..
I am in the process of restoring a Hallicrafters HA-6 6M transverter and
HA-2 2M transverter. I plan to drive these with a Johnson Pacemaker and
have a Hallicrafters SX-100 Mk II receiver to complete this station.
When I band hop I have a Kenwood TS-130S. My only concession to the
modern era.
