I bought: Yaesu FT890, Yaesu FT757GX with Auto Ant Tuner and PS and MD1
mike...
and the neato rig... Collins KWM2 with fans and 516F2 solid state power
supply.
The KWM2 is clean. Receives but needs transmitter fixed.
Now I actually sold more, but it was other ham friends equipment/rigs,
so they get the money. However, I did decide to sell the FT890 instead
of taking it home. The ham that bought it emailed me Sunday saying it
works great.
My big stuff didn't sell. Not too many wanted to dole out dollars for
my Collins KWM380 for under $3k. Or the Harris TV Ch 2 1500 watt linear
with PS, ready to go on 6 meters, for $750....or the Motorola VHF linear
amp. People seem to want plug and play rigs. HI.
The rest of "my own stuff" was small stuff.
I don't mind. My wife and I had a blast. We met with friends that went
to Botswana last year and had a big time at dinner Friday evening.
Belton is one hamfest, twice a year, that I try to always make.
Thanks to all responsible and for all who attended.
Bob
