Definitely a cool receiver, but IMO - not $5K cool. Several have sold
recently for considerably less. $1K would be pushing it, and then
mainly for being scarce/collectable. For use and utility, it's just
not there.

Buy a nice R-390, 75A-4, early Super Pro, NC-240D and/or SX-28, then
pocket a few grand for other uses.

Unless you just 'gotta have it', then by all means - go for it.
