[Boatanchors] Use of 275 watt Johnson matchbox

I normally use a Heath KW T Match 2KW PEP rated tuner. It seems to work well. I

recently loaned that antenna matcher to my son, N5ASM to use.

Field Day is coming up and I plan to put a Heath Apache and Mohawk rig on AM for

the Club as one of several stations to be used. I have built a 135 ft dipole
with 450 open wire line to use with the Heath AM rig. I have a 275 watt Johnson
Matchbox to use with the open wire line fed dipole.

Since I am not accustomed to using the Johnson Matchbox, balanced tuner, I would

appreciate your input and suggestions for using the Johnson Matchbox. Would I be

better off borrowing my heath tuner back for field day or using the Johnson?

Thanks for reading and I would appreciate the benefit of your actual knowledge
and experience with the Johnson matchbox. 73, John, K5PGW
