[Boatanchors] Need Microphone Information

for what it's worth:
I have a fully operational SBE 34 here. I'm using a Radio Shack general
purpose CB style hand mic which I'm sure is a low impedance type. I just
soldered on a PJ 068 plug and it works just fine. I like the retro look of
the 33 model better than the 34 but they are both pretty much the same thing
inside. Collins mechanical filter is standard equipment on the 34.
