The Swan 240 in its original configuration does not have circuitry for CW
operation.
There was a mod to add CW capability but there is no tone oscillator in this
rig at all.
I know....I have 2 of them.....one of them I bought new in 62'.

Heard a guy running a Swan 240 which also uses audio tone cw keying and he 
had at least 5 signals spread over 10khz!
I think the FCC got after Collins for that didn't they?
