[Boatanchors] just acquired Collins 51J-4

Jim, the R-388 is the military equivalent of the 51J-3.

The difference is that the 51J4 uses mechanical filters.

The J3 or R-388 sounds great on AM reception, unless you have the 6 Khz 
mechanical filter for the J4.

Either way, they are great boatanchor receivers.
