The following items are excess to me. However if you happen to have ARRl Handbooks for the years 1965-66i would be interested in them to complete my 60's decade.
ARRL Handbooks: $10 ea
1964, 1972, 1975, 1976 and 1978.
Radio Handbook for 1938: taped spine but complete and otherwise in pretty good shape. $18
Nories Navigation. This is almost 3 inches thick with hardcovers. Front cover is detached from main spine binding but it and 3 subsequent pages are intact. Inside it says:
A Complete Epitome of Practical navigation and Nautical Astronomy. Contains all necessary instructions for keeping a ship's reckoning AT SEA: with the most approved methods of ascertaining the LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE amd every requisite to form THE COMPLETE NAVIGATOR. The whole being rendered perfectly easy, and illustrated by numerous examples and charts. together with a correct and extensive set of tables proceded by a copius explanation of each table. BY J.W. Norie, NEW EDITION considerably augmented and improved by W.H. Bolt, London. Published by Norie and Wilson at the Navigation Warehouse and Naval Academy 156, Minories, 1900. 16 shillings bound.
It's really in great shape for its age but well used. Any ideas on this one and yes i know it's not radio related but it does pertain slightly to "boatanchors" does it not?
No wonder i didn't become a Navigator!
