Carl there are a lot of people who would like to have that or something
like it. The problem is the stuff gets into hands of people who sell it
for the big bucks, which closes out hams who would take care of it here.

I personally don't do that.and wouldn't. It is not about the collecting
for me, although I do like to have nice equipment. It is about a hobby
and having been a ham for many more years that I care to count, have had
other hams give me ARC equipment, a walkie talkie, receivers and more
parts than I can count.

I just pay it forward and wish others did the same. I just sold a tuner
for the amount I paid to get it. I have had it for 5 years and bought
another so this one is excess. The guy who wants it seems delighted to
get it and offered to pay extra to get it. I declined and told him that
the amount I quoted would be all I wanted. I will put it in the mail
Monday and let him send payment as he promised by Tuesday.

There are a lot of hams here who, if they could just afford it, would
love to have that equipment. No offense intended in this, but an
explanation. And I drive a Nissan wouldn't have an American branded car
for many reasons.
