Roger,

All the suggestions that have been made seem valid.

In any case, you'll want to keep track of the position of the ANT. COND. 
switch.  It connects a 50 pF 2500-volt cap either in series with or in 
parallel with the antenna connection.  It's completely out of the 
circuit in the "OFF" position.
