I was invited to take a look at a garage that was full of older radios and parts. Was told that what I dont take will be headed for the dump. Mostly old parts but I did come across something real interesting. Two SP-600/JX1 mounted in a rack but the thing I like about it was above these receivers was a dual speaker assembly marked "LS-154/U", ("The Rola Co."). Speakers are both 8" with 600 ohm to 8 ohm matching transformers on them. I thought this was kinda neat so I scoffed it up. Was this speaker assembly made just for Hammarlund or was it under general contract to any military receiver made with a 600 ohm output.
This is a keeper but what's your thoughts on the value on something like this.
Any input will be well appreciated.
