LS-154/U was for general use.  Wish I had one.  It was also used with 
several other dual receiver sets, mostly AN/FRR-nn.

As to value, I don't think I ever saw one sold or at least never found one 
to buy but I'd guess today $75-$125.  At a hamfest with mostly rice burners 
on top of the table, it would probably be sitting on the ground and 
available for considerably less.
