I used a switch to change my microphone between several rigs.  However, sometimes I would get hum and have other problems.  Therefore, I built a "patch panel" using RCA phono jacks with each jack connected to a particular rig.  To change rigs I just unplug the microphone and move the plug into the desired jack.

In fact, I included jacks to move my keyer from rig to rig on the same minibox.  You can see this "patch panel" just above my Collins 75S-3A in the second photo at:

What I am looking for is a microphone switch so I can switch one microphone between 5 rigs? If there is not anything I can build a switch and do the job myself, just thought I would ask? By switching the same mic. I can just set up each rig for the same mic and go for it?
