     My OS-8E/U is a light gray that has no greenish cast. I 
have a couple of other Navy instruments of about the same 
vintage in the same color.
     Sherwin-Williams paint stores and many auto supply 
stores can do color matching using an optical device which 
measures the color and sets up a custom mix. Paint can be 
supplied in cans or spray cans as desired.
     The OS-8 is a neat little scope.
