6GB6G's were a disaster in the Gates BC-1T broadcast transmitter where 
they are mounted horizontally. Gates had to replace both the RF and 
audio driver circuit boards to fix that with 807's. I have long wondered 
why they even tried with 6BG6G's - even if element  droop wasn't 
foreseen (should have been), they were very obviously an inferior 
imitation of an 807 designed for consumer TV sets.
