Actually it's not an 'adapter', it's a tube based 'operational 
amplifier', like a uA 741 !!

I have several I'd sell for a lot less!!   I sent one to a ham in 
Australia for his collection, for postage.    Guess that's why I'm still 
poor...  :-)
