[Boatanchors] OT: Dayton

This is OT so please reply directly, please. 

 

I am trying to make my first ever pilgrimage to Dayton this  year. I will be
flying there. Can anyone recommend a hotel that is close to the hamfest, but
not expensive? Quality isn't very important since I'll only be sleeping
there. But nothing with drug dealers, please - hihi 

 

Also, I am thinking of renting a car out there to get between the hotel and
the hamfest (and to lug purchases to a shipper). Anyone recommend a rental
car place? And anyone recommend a shipper? (maybe just a ups store?) 

 

Lastly, I am hoping to make it to Fair Radio on Monday (another reason for
the rental car). Timewise, how long should I budget to go through the place?
2 hours? 5 hours? I don't want to miss my flight back, but want to know how
big it is.
