The RCA TCR-100.  That video brought back lots of
memories. I had the dubious honor of maintaining one
of those for 10 years.

Our competition had the Ampex ACR-25. In comparing
notes with them, we came to the conclusion that the
RCA broke down more often, but was quicker and
easier to fix.

The machine absolutely demanded regular preventive maintenance,
we scheduled 4 hours a week down time on it, and was very unforgiving
if for some reason we didn't get to it.

I did get a free all expense paid trip to Camden,
New Jersey to go to school on the machine.
