Dave,
Are you refering to the cartrige machines used in broadcast studios for comercial advertising? I remember those from my Lehigh U. days doing remote sports broadcasts. Whenever I heard "and now a word from our sponsor" I played the next ad on the list the program manager had given me.Then qued up the next one. Most all the equipment at Lehigh was built by students back then and the remote unit the sportscasters used purportedly had EE-8 field phone parts inside.
If what you have is what I think, then maybe a college station could use them.
