Hi Gene.
When you set up your email account within Outlook make sure you have the
correct account type. That depends on your email server.
Check the email settings on your old computer using Outlook Express with the
new computer using Outlook.
Not all email servers are compatible with Outlook but if your old Outlook
Express worked the new Outlook should also work.
Compare the settings from Outlook Express to Outlook.

Subject: [Boatanchors] OUTLOOK 2010
This all started when I bought a new machine that had Win 7 and NO Outlook
Express. (Windows Live mail SUCKS!).
So, I started searching for something similar; closest thing was
Thunderbird, but still not the same. . .
The problem(s) with Outlook are:
1. I do not see the new messages in my inbox.
2. I do not see the sent messages in my sent folder.
3. If I use the feature that sends a test message I do not see it in my
inbox.
If I go to my other machine (This one, with Outlook Express) none of the
above occurs.
The Outlook help files are useless. . . .
