[Boatanchors] OUTLOOK 2010

This all started when I bought a new machine that had Win 7 and NO Outlook Express. (Windows Live mail SUCKS!).
So, I started searching for something similar; closest thing was Thunderbird, but still not the same. . . 

The problem(s) with Outlook are:

1. I do not see the new messages in my inbox.
2. I do not see the sent messages in my sent folder.
3. If I use the feature that sends a test message I do not see it in my inbox.

If I go to my other machine (This one, with Outlook Express) none of the above occurs.

The Outlook help files are useless. . . .
