Make sure the RF trimmers are peaked on the desired 14 Mhz signal and
not the image. On the higher bands it's easy to get the low end of the
band "padded" properly and the high end "trimmed" to the image. Then
things go to pot in the middle of the band.
Assuming the oscillator is on the high side of the signal this will be
the lower of the two responses, i.e. the one with the trimmers screwed
farther in. (Puzzling this out always challenges my feeble brain.)
Does anyone know for sure whether the SX-25 is high-side injection on
all bands?
