Lee,

ARRL occupied about 1/4th of the big hall. The rest of that hall was filled
with commercial vendors (Yaesu, Diamond, Flex, etc.). There were more
commercial vendors than are usually at Ham-Com due to the ARRL presence. There
were no swap tables in the big hall. They were relegated to either the outside
flea market, one smaller air conditioned area that was maybe 100'x100', an
outside area on the east side of complex or under the covered walkway on the
north side of the building. Accordingly, there was not nearly as much used
equipment and parts as there usually is.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Ham-Com in Plano, Texas

I decided not to go to Ham Com this year in Plano, Texas. I heard a report
the ARRL booked the entire room where Commercial Venders used to set up
their displays. I was told the Commercial Vendors had to go elsewhere. I
am not sure where. Outside? In the halls? Can anyone on here tell me what
happened and where the Commercial Venders set up their booths?

Lee, w0vt
