[Boatanchors] Drake 2B

Like others on this list, I had a Drake 2B and wish I had it back.  I 
bought it in late 1964 after giving up on working the novice bands with 
a BC-348.  After I upgraded I used it with a Hallicrafters HT-32.  I had 
a HB pair of 4CX300A linear with a 2el triband quad and worked the world.

For reasons I have never understood, in 1976 my ex-wife kept both the 2B 
and HT-32.  She had no interest in ham radio.  I should have gone with 
the moving van when it went to pick up my belongings.  I was moving from 
St. Louis to CT.  My ex had a list of what I was supposed to get but 
when the truck arrived in CT those two items were not there along with a 
couple of shotguns and two or three other items.  I figured what over is 
over and let the matter lie.
