I picked up a Precision Apparatus series 884 VOM in a wooden case the other day.  No batteries of course.  Anyone know what kind it takes?  This is in pretty good shape with the exception of the wood cover.  Measures 0-12 Amps, up to 1200 ma and scales for either 1200 or 6000 volts.  Resistance scales ore 0-400, 1 meg, 10 meg and 100 Mohms.  Wonder how old this thing is?
 
Looking for paperwork or someone who needs it more so than i!
