The "Boatanchoring"  community has several subsets, 
defined by specific interests.  For instance- many 
follow a particular brand, like Hallicrafters or Drake
or Heath.  Others a specific mission, like military
portables, maritime or (my niche') aircraft sets.  
Our recommendation would depend on your field of interest.
