I am replacing the finals for an old MLA-2500B with 2 x 4CX400 as per the
article in Communications Quarterly Summer 1996.
The amp is working now as per the article, except in 160M.
Checking the parts list in the Dentron Mnual I find that C8 and C42 are
listed as 100 pF but the amp actually have 1000 pF for them.
I wonder if the parts list is wrong or if somebody replaced them previously.
Also, I have one of the 3x100 pF that conforms C9 missing. I believe this is
why I do not have tank resonance in 160M.
Any suggestions? Am I wrong?
