Grounding unused equipment is certainly a good way to go.

But if you're looking to have multiple receivers and bands going simul with 
transmitting on another band, then there are a number of very workable and 
flexible solutions.

This has always been an issue at the Multi-Multi contest stations I've been 
at where bandpass filters and stubs are commonly used to solve the 
inter-station problems.
