[Boatanchors] RE; KWM-2A Problems

Good Afternoon All,


        First a Thank You to all who responded to my cry for help. After
performing the field alignment the radio now performs well on all the
band with the exception of the top 150 KHz of the 75 meter band. In
reading the manual there is a set of adjustments of the P.A. Tuning caps.
I now be leave that someone may have played with the setting for the
lowest band. I am basing my statement on the fact that to get the output
anywhere near normal I must open the load cap to maximum when running the
output into a dummy load. so the saga continues. The rest of the work on
the remote VFO and power supply are completed. So as so as I get this
last little problem squared away the radio will be good to go.
