I was in 3rd or 4th grade when I picked up the 3rd edition of Alfred
Morgan's book from my school library (circa 1976-ish)! Yes it was in my
elementary school library! I am proud to say I stole that book and still
have it to this day! (I simply took the book out from the library and did
not give the librarian the little card in the back. So they had no record it
was take out)!

My folks gave me the "The Boys' First Book of Radio and Electronics" by
Alfred Morgan in 1954. I seem to recall that I built a 1 tube reciever from
that! It was also on a board with Fahnstock clips. I see that the book is
still available as a collectors edition for $235.... whew!
