[Boatanchors] DO YOU REMEMBER?

In 1952 or 53 my parents gave me a battery-powered radio kit for Christmas. It was constructed on a piece of plywood about 12" x 8", had, as I recall, three tubes and the case was a cardboard box with punchouts for power switch, volume and tuning. It went together with fahnstock clips screwed to the board and it worked! It ate batteries ferociously but the paper route paid for those.

I'd appreciate any information about this kit: who sold it, how much it cost, a picture or some clue as to where any information might be found.

Thanks
