Hi Gerry,
I have the Hallicrafters SM-20 external S-Meter which I believe is only for
the S-20?
If I remember, it is in a slant front cabinet.
Is your S-Meter kit documentation from Hallicrafters or a magazine
construction article?
If Hallicrafters, did you get the documentation from BAMA online?
Be well,

Anchorites,

I am in process of reliving my youth. I am recreating my first real radio
from 1959. I have two mint S-38E units to choose from, I have a mint Heath
HD-11 Q Multiplier, a mint Heath HD-20 crystal calibrator, documentation of
the Hallicrafters S-meter kit, necessary resistors and a Halli S-meter
(although if I could find a meter with a mint plastic front, it would be
really nice).

What I am seeking is a slanted front Bud box for such a meter and a linear
500 ohm potentiometer with a knurled shaft (I am shooting for as much
originality as I can find - I know, I can find a linear pot, but knurled??).
Anybody out there have either available for even an unreasonable price? Or
a mint S-meter?
