Yes, it is the circuit by Kermit Crowell, W3AJO
from QST, April 1966. I have not taken it apart
but the physical construction of it would seem
to be almost commercial in quality. I wonder if
some entrepreneur started up a small business to
build them.

One of these days I might even get the time to
try it and my HRO-60 out! So many projects, so
little time!
