[Boatanchors] OT part numbers for D5/D6 on HW-8 qrp rig

John,

Per my HW-8 manual, D5, D6, D7, D8, etc are all Heath P/N 56-24 and industry
number -1N458-.  Looks like band switching diodes in receiver RF amp drain
circuit. Crosses to the ECG/NTE-177.  Little rascal uses -23- of them! That
help?

No luck trying to subscribe to the yahoo group for the HW-8  I've got one
fixed 
up and working except for the fact that I need to replace Diodes 5 and 6.   

Anyone know what they are?  Online manuals dont show the parts list.  I
figured 
you guys are smarted than the yahoo list anyway!
