   Of course all this is archived - so every thoughtless reposting of the
entire freakin' digest gets propagated times the number of subscribers...
and on and on....

   And speaking as a a moderator/sysop of many reflectors over the years - 
the most polite and careful mention of this thoughtlessness to the 
individuals responsible for it - brings howls of wounded protest and 
defensive denials...

   I got to the point where they were just permanently removed, and then, 
problem solved.

    As long as I have the mike keyed, another hugely irresponsible abuse is 
reposting a message with every one of your 'contacts' listed in the CC: 
block.   Free lunch for the spam harvesters - mmmm  fresh private live 
email addresses!!  Thats what "BCC" is for! (Blind Carbon Copy)....


   But: I'm not the Moderator here. They have far more patience for this 
crap than I would.
