Digging around in one of my boxes of "junque" i found a couple of parts that sound interesting.  One is a Fixed Condenser Type 260 by the C.D. Tuska Co. Hartford, Conn..  Another is a "Formo-Densor Type J, MAX .0003 and Min .000025
 
A third one is a Harvey-Wells Electronics crystal for 3105 kc that has only one tab for connecting a wire or screw to.  Hmmmm.  Wonder which piece of avionics that came from.
