[Boatanchors] EV-664 opinions?

I've had an EV-664, since forever.
All kinds of radios.........
Currently switched between a TT OMNI-VI+ and an S-line....

EVERYONE prefers the 664 over the D-104 (could just be me)

Boom mounted, closed talked, it is great with the OMNI on VOX and footswitch 
PTT with the Collins.

I actually have two 664's, one working with a really crappy finish and a 
beautiful one that does not work...
The pretty one I sent to EV and they returned it.  They do not have 
parts........


Any help for the pretty 664??????
