[Boatanchors] EV-664 opinions?

Brian...664 is a great mic...If you remember a lot of the Collins pictures
showed a 664 as the mic of choice... I as well have 2 and would be hard
pressed to get rid of any of them... The 664 was best known as a PA Mic in
schools and was nick named the HAMMER. In schools people actually used them
to drive nails. They are rugged and have very good quality audio if the
cartridge is good. The cartridge is no longer available from EV.  It was not
many years ago that EV rebuilt the 664. Sounds great on a KWS1 or a KW1.  If
yours is not pitted then keep it or sell it to me  LOL.. By the way BRIAN  I
need a G Stand for one of my 10DS's  if you have an extra...
