"Like comparing Collins to Heathkit" for American Flyer to Lionel?

Sorry Robert but that is a ridiculous statement and I have collected 
both. They both were built equally well in quality and realism (except 
for the three rail track) unless you had the real cheap low end Lionel 
stuff.

By the way, three rail track like Lionel used does exist in the real 
world. It's used on the tube (subway) in London.
