Yeah, considering that I paid $375 last year for a one owner, near mint
75A3, CW and AM filters, calibrator, NBFM adapter, original manual and
original sales docs at Nearfest. Never been worked on underneath and it was
one of the easiest overhauls Ive done.

Also got the 32V2 that was with it in the same condition with a box full of
spare iron, tank assembly, NIB 4D32's (2 of them) and rectifiers, manual,
new dial overlay, etc for a bit more....$425 I think it was.

Dave,

I appreciate the 'heads up'. I came away with the Johnson tuner, the
Viking
VFO, a Millen GDO, a Paco capacitor R/C bridge / leakage tester and
several
boxes of variable caps, meters, knobs, tubes, solder. One of the boxes
had a
beautiful National PW dial complete with the variable caps and gear unit.
I
intend to go back tomorrow when things will be even cheaper. I guess the
non-working 75A2 at $550 will sit there until they realize it's way
overpriced.

It isn't an "issue" of "A lot of folks on the list are in XXXX".

The "squawk" per se, is can "MORE" notice be given? I only got notice at the very last minute...
I'm with you; I hope I'll find out sooner next time.
Glad to say it looks like most of the stuff is going to find good homes,
rather than got to the dumpster after being over-priced.
There are a lot of small parts there that are going cheap,
as well as some un-exciting but useful test gear for
5, 10, 20 bucks.
