Dave,
I appreciate the 'heads up'. I came away with the Johnson tuner, the Viking
VFO, a Millen GDO, a Paco capacitor R/C bridge / leakage tester and several
boxes of variable caps, meters, knobs, tubes, solder. One of the boxes had a
beautiful National PW dial complete with the variable caps and gear unit. I
intend to go back tomorrow when things will be even cheaper. I guess the
non-working 75A2 at $550 will sit there until they realize it's way overpriced.

I only got notice at the very last minute...
I'm with you; I hope I'll find out sooner next time.
Glad to say it looks like most of the stuff is going to find good homes,
rather than got to the dumpster after being over-priced.
There are a lot of small parts there that are going cheap,
as well as some un-exciting but useful test gear for
5, 10, 20 bucks.
