It isn't an "issue" of "A lot of folks on the list are in XXXX".

The "squawk" per se, is can "MORE" notice be given?

The NEARFEST folks give a lot of "notice", meaning TIME, in their 
announcements.  This allows even "Texas" to participate!

As a member and subscriber to the "same" list, I can reasonably say that 
there is no 5 Land majority.  It seems to be well distributed across ALL 
Call Areas.
