A scope is indispensable for any kind of RF work in my humble opinion,
provided that you use common sense and don't look for high frequency
detail with a medium frequency scope.

You can align receivers, check oscillators, verify transmitter stages,
and uncountably many other useful things, with even a modest scope.

Unfortunately my BK 35MHz scope is dying. Can someone recommend
a 200MHz scope for general use? Budget is very limited. Scope should be
able to handle tube-type voltages with no strain.
