[Boatanchors] What is a WRR-10

Yes - It was used for countermeasures receiver by our subs to detect enemy
emmissions. (see book: BLIND MAN'S BLUFF) I was on the USS SKIPJACK, SSN
585 among others. While it really covers the band (DC to visbible light) it
is way too heavy to be useful for ham use. The other problem from the Ham
perspective is then to get the antenna package. I'd reccommend passing on
it and saving your money for something more useful for ham use. While it is
a beautiful piece of equipment, it truly is a white elephant.
Brgds, Geo
